As a nutritionist and public health graduate, I have always had an interest in active and healthy lifestyles to go along with a balanced and healthy diet. I have found dancing - especially Bollywood dancing to be energetic, free-spirited and an extreme stress reliever in today's strange and unprecedented times.
I am passionate about dancing as I see it as a form of art and means by which one can express themselves. Bollywood dancing has always come naturally.I have always been observant and attentive of Bollywood and Bhangra performances and over time have become adept at it with frequent practices including performing at high school, university campus as well as performing at both friends' and family's wedding events. Furthermore, I have choreographed dance routines and performances for many events and have received excellent feedback from all involved.
On a personal note, I have battled through times in my life when I have gone from being fit and lean previously to then gaining weight.I have found that Bollywood dancing not only helps with physical fitness of building stamina,muscle bulk and toning but also translates and transforms individuals including myself to be a happier,healthier and stronger person both physically and mentally.
I am keen to work as a group to help others to progress in their endurance and overall holistic wellbeing in a fun and enjoyable environment.
