Amee was born and raised in Texas. She has lived in Chicago for 17 years with her husband and 2 children. Growing up she was introduced and trained in Kathak and participated in Fogana. Although she enjoys many different formats of workouts and is passionate about health and fitness, dancing brings her back to her roots and her childhood. Her exposure to dance currently involves other forms of dance fitness as a participant in the form of Werq and Zumba.

Most of the time you can find Amee working as a dentist, driving her children around, working out, cooking or spending time with her family and friends. She looks forward to using BollyX to keep her moving, return to dance, all while also her to share her culture with her community. Look forward to dancing with you all!!
