After ten years of struggling with autoimmune health issues that landed me in the hospital twice a year with frequent visits to specialists and urgent care, I decided to make a health change in my life. At 50, with no prior dance or exercise experience, I decided to challenge myself to become more graceful by learning dance while also getting in the best shape of my life. Thanks to Bollyx and my local community, I found a welcome place where I could learn fun routines and found the healing that doctors couldn’t provide. My love for Bollywood inspired me to become certified in Bollyx as a bucket list challenge. During the day, I’m a science teacher. At night, I release my inner rockstar and can’t wait to rock out with you while getting fit!
