BollyX at House of Steel in Vanderbilt, PA.

With toll money in the purse, BollyX on the radio, and the New York City skyline in the rear view, we’re onto new terrain. May 26th marks the beginning of BollyX on the road! Community members, Clara & Meredith, hit the road to Pittsburgh to bring BollyX to gyms in the area and spread the word.

BollyX is about adventure, love of music, love of dance, and hanging out with each other! What better way to do that than road tripping across a whole state. We definitely didn’t eat right (#mickeyD’s), but what is a road trip without bad food, but good company.

Our first day was spent demo-ing at two different gyms. We made a stop at Club One Fitness, where we blasted Dus Bahane and were met with the most welcoming and age diverse group (15-70)! Our second demo was at a renovated ice skating rink with BollyX projections on the walls. We danced with a group of powerfully fit ladies, who were excited to have BollyX on their schedule in just a couple months.

Two demos in one day is not an easy feat, but we’re proud and crashed hard in our Econolodge suite. This blog is meant to be the first entry of many taking BollyX on the road. Who knows? BollyX may be coming to you soon! Don’t be afraid to take a risk, try something new, and rent a rental car!

On April 10th, the Knicks City Dancers performed BollyX choreography to the Bollywood hit song “Dhoom Machale Dhoom.” It was incredible to work with some of the most talented dancers in the world at the Madison Square Garden. We hope you enjoy our video recap!
