Hey guys! My name is Aditi, and I was born and raised in the Boston area. I’ve had a soft spot for dance from my first days of college and it’s been a pretty consistent passion of mine since! I’ve been part of a few competitive dance teams from UMass Amherst, performing at Smith College, Holyoke College as well as Harvard University. After graduating, I knew I was going to miss dance as part of a weekly workout routine after a 4-year habit. I was encouraged to audition and I was fortunate enough to become a competitive member of Boston University’s Bhangra team. Although I was only with them for a few competitions, it was so much fun to be a part of their energy, their liveliness and their commitment to perform.

Fast forward a few years later, I switched from competitive dancing to recreational dancing among Boston’s community events including Diwali celebrations at MIT and India’s Independence Day at the Hatch Shell! Even today, I’m always looking for engaging ways to stay active with a sense of sanity and fun in my schedule. I was so excited to stumble upon BollyX to help pursue this, and I’m so pumped to continue with those dancing vibes among the community yet again! Can’t wait to share some fun experiences with you and get in a solid workout together!
