Ameera was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She has been dancing since the age of 4 and is classically trained in Bharata Natyam. She has participated in various dance venues through childhood. In her college years, at UC Irvine, she participated and competed nationally with Garba Raas team Mitraas. She has also been a part of many culture shows expressing India’s variety of dance forms in Classical fusion, Bollywood and Folk dances. She is beyond excited to be a part of BollyX! She has recently moved to the Chicago area and is looking to spread her passion for dance in the MidWest!!
