Hey y'all!

My name is Amneet and I currently live in Houston, Texas with my husband and 2 rescue dogs. I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, and most recently spent a few years living in San Francisco before making the move to the Lone Star State. Coming from a big fat Punjabi family, I was raised on lots and lots of bhangra. During my time at the University of Illinois @ Urbana-Champaign, I revived the competitive Bhangra team, I-Bhangra. After school, I spent 1 year dancing with an independent competitive team in Chicago called M.O.B. (Ministry of Bhangra). I enjoy bhangra and bollywood in a more leisurely capacity these days!

Outside of dance, I enjoy reading, cooking (recently became vegetarian so lots of new stuff to learn!), and traveling. I'm also actively involved in dog rescue.

I'm excited to be part of the BollyX team so I can share my love of dancing, fitness and community with others. Hope to see you in the studio!
