Celina began teaching BollyX in 2016, at the age of 17. She took her training with the Co-Founder, Shahil Patel in Vancouver, Canada. Celina has 14 years of experience in Irish dance, she competed provincially and nationally for several years.
More recently, Celina has been putting her knowledge to use by teaching and choreographing at a local dance school.
Celina is pursuing a career in the health, nutrition, and fitness industry. She has enrolled in the Biomedical Program at the University of Northern British Columbia. She has certifications in BOSU, Dance Play, and has obtained her group fitness certificate through CFES.
She has recently achieved the UNBC Scholar Award and the President’s Silver Anniversary Award in Excellence in Leadership. She also received the Volunteer of the Year Award.
Celina wants to introduce health to communities in a new and exciting way. She hopes to continue teaching BollyX as she moves on to post-secondary education.
