Heather is a Certified Group Fitness Instructor who has lived in Akron, Ohio all of her life. When she was younger, she took different dance classes, but started twirling baton when she was 10 years old. She was a cheerleader in elementary and middle school, but once she entered high school she decided to just focus on being a majorette. After graduating, she taught baton for a few years while going to college. Heather has an BA in Social Work and an MA in Education in School Counseling. She didn't get back into fitness until she was in her late 30's with running and Orangetheory Fitness. While working from home during the Covid break, she saw an ad on Facebook for BollyX, tried it and was hooked immediately. Originally she started taking the classes to add into her fitness routine but quickly realized how much fun she was having, how great of a stress relief it was and how much she missed dancing after all of these years! She will soon offer classes online and possibly locally!
