Lavanya has been dancing since she was 5 years old! She is a trained Indian classical dancer in both Bharatnatyam and Kuchipudi dance forms. She also loves Bollywood dance and has her own dance school (Aakriti Dance Academy) that teaches various dance styles like Bollywood, Hip-Hop, Bhangra, Fusion and so much more to students of all age groups. Her school puts up unique theme based dance shows every year in the greater Seattle area.

Lavanya is an avid fitness fan as well! She works out almost 6 days a week and loves to add strength and weight training to her fitness regime.

BollyX was a natural fit for her as it combined her love and passion of both her worlds - Dance, Bollywood and Fitness!
