I'm Mickel (pronounced My-Kul, it's just spelled weird) and over the past few years my life has been positively changed through fitness and I'm excited to share it with you. I never danced until I was 36, even though I studied music through college. It wasn't until a few years ago I knew I needed to change my health direction and went to my first dance fitness class. Even after I tripped over my own feet (true story) I has having fun and sweating like crazy. I kept going to class but was looking for something that fit my personality. One day my wife wanted to watch a Bollywood movie and we absolutely loved it! In a short time we quickly collected a large library of movies which lead my wife to finding BollyX. In just a couple months she became an instructor and started teaching classes. I knew it was what I was looking for in the first class. BollyX has the music and dancing like nothing else out there and its a class that didn't feel like it was just for ladies. There are powerful and fun moves that increase your energy and confidence.
So I invite you out to a class. I normally teach as a team with my wife Joyce Barnes (check out her bio too!) and we would love to share the music, dance and fun that BollyX brings! Come be a Rockstar with us!
