Born in Dubai and raised in India, Nisha came to the U.S. to pursue her Master's in Electrical Engineering. Like most Indian kids, Bollywood always was a huge part of her life; a total Bollywood junkie, Nisha has always been notorious among friends for knowing the MOST obscure Bollywood songs. Growing up, she learnt Bharatnatyam (a classical Indian dance style), while also participating in folk and Indian contemporary dance performances.

After getting her first job, fitness was not always a top priority, until she discovered Zumba, and her love for dance fitness. Although schedules (and consequently, her weight and fitness levels) see-saw'd, dance fitness was the one exercise form she could count on to enjoy, all the while thinking how awesome a Bollywood based work out would be.

Then, in May 2017, she found BollyX! Combine her love for Bollywood with her love for dancing and dance fitness, and you cannot find a better fit than BollyX! So, in May she set a fitness goal for herself, the reward for which would be the BollyX certification. She achieved both in September 2017, and cannot wait to teach classes and spread the love.

Nisha is working towards her AFAA group exercise certification. She is also a licensed Zumba Instructor.
