Balqis is a self-taught dancer since she was little. It started when her mother introduced her to DDR (dance dance revolution) games. And that was the start of her passion in dancing.

Her earliest hindi movies were Dil To Pagal Hai and Kuch Kuch Ho Ta Hai. She absolutely fell in love with their songs, costumes and facial expressions. She mimicks all those moves and lip-sync in front of the TV and mirror. Eventually, began to dress like Karisma Kapoor, Kajol, and Rani (there's more ????). She's so lucky that her mom support her passion, so her mom bought plenty of bollywood hits song CDs for her talented daughter.

Self-taught dancer by years, one day she found BollyX on Youtube. The fact that it was easy to follow and teach her students those moves (oh yes! She is a primary school teacher ????). Thus, she made a career of becoming one of the BollyX instructor.
