Pavani is from the City of Temples, Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha. She has always been a fan of Bollywood movie industry, and has self taught herself dance. At age 5, she performed "main teri dushman", a very famous song from the movie Nagin, which was also her first dance on stage, for her father's office annual cultural event. She has also participated in many school cultural events. She loves choregraphing for her friends, for their family events. A Data Scientist by profession, Pavani's real passion lies in dance.

She got married and moved to New York. She started joining Zumba classes at a local gym. In March 2020, due to the pandemic, when all the gyms and workout centers were shut down, Pavani found BollyX On Demand. She started hosting virtual dance parties with her friends. She also started taking online BollyX classes, conducted by various instructors, all over the USA. Her love for dance made her go for the certification program and she got licensed in August 2020. She has her own set of participants now, and does classes twice per week. She has also done many collabs with many fabulous instructors. She loves dancing with her two kids (11 & 8), in the classes. She is super LUCKY to have found this community, that is so supportive and always kind!!!!!
