Born in Syracuse, New York and raised in the swamps of Central Florida, Brent’s childhood obsessions consisted of art, computer animation, and making videos with his friends. After getting his BFA in Film & New Media Production at Florida State University, Brent moved up north to work in the New York film scene.After a few adventurous years working on indie films, Brent made the transition to the web, working at digital agencies including StickyData, Icon Nicholson (now part of LBi), and Digital Pulp. While in the agency world Brent worked with many brands large and small, notably MasterCard, NYU and Dow Jones.In 2003 Brent and his wife Teresa started a small digital design firm that grew and evolved over the years to become condensed.io, a Brooklyn-based brand agency for startups. The condensed team brought top level talent and experience from larger Manhattan agencies to work with startups. They have branded and created the digital presence for dozens of successful startups, most notably Tough Mudder.With Tough Mudder, Condensed went from sketching up logo concepts with two Harvard business school grads to helping guide a billion dollar worldwide brand within the short span of 4 years. Brent’s team became their agency of record and directed their tech for years.In 2013, Brent and his team were approached again by two incredibly talented business school grads with a big idea. Brent went on to join BollyX developing their branding and tech products. Today he continues to push forward the BollyX brand and develop new tech products for the BollyX community.Brent loves Syracuse basketball, Spanish wine, woodwork, and – even on his off time – exploring front-end web technologies (much to the chagrin of his wife and two kids).
