Fen Tung
Cambridge, MA
Fen is a Co-Founder and the Fitness Product Director of BollyX (founded in 2013). She has been teaching group exercise classes since 2004 when she obtained her AFAA Group Fitness Instructor Certification. She is certified to teach jump rope, bootcamp, cardio kickboxing, mat Pilates, barre, Zumba®, BollyX®, Tabata, BodyPump, BodyCombat and any strength training/HIIT based classes. Fen is also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and has been training clients since 2003. Fen has been an athlete for most of her life, participating in various sports since age 6. In high school and college, she ran Varsity Cross Country, running the Boston marathon as a bandit her sophomore year. Fen has the following certifications and licenses: BollyX®, BollyX® LIT, and BollyX® for Kids; Merrithew STOTT Pilates Matwork Level I and II, TotalBarre; Les Mills BodyPump and BodyCombat; ISCA Kick Box, Kick Box II, Boxing, Kettlebell, Mat Pilates; Zumba® (B1, B2, Toning, Step, Pro Skills); ARC First Aid; AHA CPR/AED. Outside of teaching classes, Fen is an ISCA Master Trainer certifying individuals in Mat Pilates and Kick Box, and is a BollyX® Master Trainer. She became involved in fitness in order to help people decrease stress in their lives and prevent health problems and injuries, and simply, because she loves physical activity. In her spare time, Fen likes to cook and watch action movies. Her fitness philosophy is: Take it one day at a time. Each day is an opportunity to do something good for your health. Fen graduated from MIT with a BS in Biology.
